The Plant is one of the 9 distribution centers which activity is the sale and distribution of automotive components to the independant alter market in Spain and Portugal.
· APPLICATION : VALEO Service Spain is looking for its new logistics controller
Essential Functions (Responsibilities) :
Inside the supply chain department of Valeo Service Spain managed by the procurement manager, the logistics controller drives both development and execution of the VALEO global supply chain plan.
The right candidate aims at improving customer service performance by optimizing the level of stock of one or several VALEO product lines.
These are the main responsabilities :
- Management of the global replenishment of one or several VALEO Product lines from our internal and external suppliers (Launch and validation of purchase programs, control of stock target and shortage risks by following Key performance Indicators : customer back orders, customer service level, supplier performance indicators)
- Maintenance of the replenishment parameters necessary to pilot the overall supply chain (Safety Stock, Reorder point, Kanban cycles, Maximum stock levels)
- Supplier progressing review process ensuring the suppliers are respecting the delivery plan (Establishment of improvement plans with suppliers, Priority and chase-up management, Quality incident follow-up)
- Management of product life cycle (new product logistics introduction, end of life product logistics actions as overstock campaign)
- Active cooperation in sales forecast process led by marketing team (Sales and Operation Plan interface)
- Provide support for all customer service requests concerning delivery information out of stock products
- Apply all relevant criteria of the Valeo Production System
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Engineering Degree or Degree in International Logistics
- Excellent problem solving skills, initiative and creativity.
- Orientation to results, High energy and aggressive approach to issues.
- Team player. excellent communication and organization skills.
- English Fluency, French will be appreciated
